Introduction
In the developing and fast changing world, clothing has emerged out to be an area of presentation of one’s confidence and identity. Therefore, people are recognizing the way they are dressed. The influence of film industry has further added the sense of consciousness for clothing. In simple words, clothing these days is a way of showing one’s personality. “Dress designing and tailoring” is an effort to develop stitching skills in the participants which would not only help one generate new forms of designs but also would provide a sense of understanding to transform the idea to a garment.

Scope: This course prepares the participants to work:

As a tailor or a dress designer with any export house

As an entrepreneur and have their own boutique

As freelancer

As tailoring trainer
