Women’s Equality Day 30th Nov 2019

Women’s Equality Day was celebrated On 30th Nov 2019 at Jove Conscious Foundation Mundka. The overall theme of the event was to make rural women aware about their rights. More than 600 community ladies and adolescent girls attended the event and were directly benefitted by the awareness building workshop.
Total 13 successful women received “Veerangana Award” from our distinguished guests. There was a panel discussion, topic was “Child sexual abuse and mental harm on victim”. Two speakers were victim themselves, they have experienced molestation within the family.

Mr. PremPeyara (Motivational Speaker and life coach from Australia) motivated the women by explaining reasons of gender discrimination in society and highlighted the role of a woman to other woman help. Students of Women Skill Training Academy have performed a stage play on child sexual abuse, it was based on real incident, which we have identified during Awareness building session in a MCD school.
